Yashoda Premysler, a 2017 graduate of Trinity Washington University, grew up in Washington, D.C., where she attended both public and charter schools, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 2013. At Trinity, Yashoda earned a degree in Sociology and was selected as a member of the school’s Phi Beta Kappa chapter. Last year, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer at CentroNia, a community based program in Columbia Heights that serves children from the early years through 5th grade. At CentroNia, Yashoda worked closely with the 2nd and 3rd graders. Her experience with the children motivated her to pursue a Master’s in Education through Inspired Teaching and Trinity Washington University. Her connection to Trinity is strong and last year she returned there to serve as the Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach. Yashoda is very excited about her placement as a Resident in Mr. Moser’s 4th grade class.
