Student Re-Enrollment 2021

The process outlined below must be completed by June 25, 2021 at 4PM. After this date, your child's seat will be made available to a family on our waitlist.
 
Please reach out to the school if you have any technical issues or resource limitations that might prevent you from completing this process by June 25th.
STEP 1: RESIDENCY VERIFICATION DOCUMENTS
OPTIONS FOR PROVING RESIDENCY:
Verify with DC Office of Tax and Revenue
(We recommend using this tool if possible.)

IF you are unable to use the OTR system you will need to upload scanned copies of the following using our PowerSchool Enrollment Form:
ONE of the following documents:
  • Pay Stub
  • Certified DC 40 Tax Form
  • Proof of DC Government Assistance
OR
TWO of the following documents:
  • Lease with Proof of Payment
  • Utility Bill with Proof of Payment
  • Valid DC Vehicle License or ID
  • Valid DC Vehicle Registration
STEP 2: COMPLETE THE POWERSCHOOL RE-ENROLLMENT FORM

FAMILIES NEW TO PARENT PORTAL:
  • Click “CREATE ACCOUNT” Tab at the top of the sign-in box
  • Click “CREATE ACCOUNT” Button
  • Complete “PARENT ACCOUNT DETAILS” section
  • Scroll down to “LINK STUDENTS TO ACCOUNT”
  • Enter your student’s name
  • Enter your student’s ACCESS ID:
  • PK3 & PK4 = First Name/Last Initial (ex. KellyB)
  • K to 8th grade = First Initial/Last Name/DOB [MMDD] (ex. KBrown0307)
  • Enter your student’s ACCESS PASSWORD:
  • All students = DOB (MMDDYY) (ex. 030715)
  • Scroll to the bottom of page click “SUBMIT”
  • FOLLOW DIRECTIONS LISTED BELOW
FAMILIES WITH A PowerSchool ACCOUNT:
  • Login to PowerSchool
  • On the left menu bar click “FORMS”
  • Complete the [All Families] A - DC Residency Verification Form (RE-ENROLLMENT)
STEP 3: SUBMIT YOUR DC RESIDENCY VERIFICATION FORM
• Click the link below and “e-sign” the DC Residency Verification Form. Complete one form for each child in your family.

In August, additional information and documents will be sent, including lunch program enrollment, before/aftercare enrollment, Free/Reduced Meal application, and medication administration forms.

**PLEASE NOTE: You can upload Medical Forms to the HEALTH FORM and upload Residency Documents to the DC RESIDENCY VERIFICATION FORM.
**If you verified your residency through the DC Office of Tax and Revenue(OTR), there is no need to upload any documentation. Note that you are a resident and submit.

• If you plan to withdraw from ITDS for the 2021-2022 school year, please complete the form below and return to kelly.brown@inspiredteachingschool.org
